I want a simple feature in Google reader (or any RSS reader) which should be not so complicated to create. I read several blogs that cover more or less the same subjects and news. Unfortunately the reading experience is not continuous. For example i will read about Youtube XL in TechCrunch, later in Download Squad and then LifeHacker.
I'd love someone to create a simple feature (could be either a script or a browser plugin) that crawls my RSS reader and knows when i read a news what are the other blog posts, already in my RSS reader, that are talking about the same matter and then presents them to me in a convenient way so i can pursue the reading experience. Would improve dramatically my experience
Usually hot news make it no more than 24h in blogs. So it should be pretty easy to detect over that lap period who are the blogs covering exact.
This should be a feature of any RSS reader that are in my view still not doing a great job, even Google reader, at adding value on top of the content we are fed.
So the idea is here and free. you can take it and do whatever you want with it. Last time i wrote about a free idea, it became Topify and soon Project TD.
So?
