We started to distribute private invitations here and there for Topify a few days ago, a new service that helps you manage more efficiently your new followers on twitter by email. We wanted to make sure our first users are very happy with the service. Which seem to be the case. But today we wanted to push a little further the limit and we are appearing on TechCrunch for a bit wave of impact.
It could have been very tempting to open the service right away. But one thing we know: not screwing up at the launch is absolutely key.
We want our users to be absolutely satisfied. And even we can already see some cloned, with poorer functionnalities out there, we decided to keep focus on quality. In the coming days we ll fully open with a larger set of features and good surprises.
I could nearly write a book about the amount of things that happened for the past 48h and the way Arik Fraimovich and I dealt with the endless requests, unvoluntary buzz out there and suggestions for new features. As a VC it is really helpful to jump into the mud and get a view of what s happening on the other side from time to time.
ps: a big thank you note to Neurovit who created the icon we use as a logo (for now)
