Love Twitter? try the new Twhirl

Once of the conditions for really enjoying twitter, beyond having enough friends is having a good Twitter client. There is no way you can fully appreciate the real time-ness of Twhirl by using only Twitter the website, because there are just not enough key features. Twhirl is a desktop client owned by Seesmic, the company of my friend Loic Lemeur.

They released today a new version available in preview here that just makes it a little better: they integrated the best URL shortener services like bit.ly, you can receive alerts on special keywords (like your name), you can also directly answer by video via seesmic directly from the client.

Twhirl is my favourite client on my desktop. Many talk about Twitterific or Tweetdeck but i stick to this one.
