I still do not manage to digest the news: World famous Israeli pianist/ conductor Daniel Barenboim accepted the Palestinian citizenship (his wikipedia page is already updated). On one side he claims this is a symbol of peace on the other side this is seriously provocative. How do you read this?
On one hand this is a strong symbol that a Palestinian state should exist somehow, but on the other hand, there won't be many Palestinian jews in the future, so I don't understand why we should give focus to such news.

Anyway i think it's interesting, if it can contribute to something...
I am not choked at all ,on the contrary ,I believe it's a very smart move; we need influential people to start moving things around!

This blows apart the argument that a Palestinian State would be off-limits to Jews - the popular argument to justify Israel being off-limits to Palestinians.
Hopefully, someone's listening to this music.

Why not after all...If it can help the relationships, it s symbolic. Difficult to juge from France, we just get piece of info.
I guess he did not lose his Israeli nationality so he should have the double nationality..
