israel internet startups 2007

Here is an updated lists of all israeli internet startups to date created by IVC. The list is not complete and the classification is sometimes strange/wrong but it has the merit to be there and is rather complete (click to enlarge) - but will be soon outdated. Some important companies are missing too

a few comments:

• I would have created a video category as well as gaming in mobile one where a lot is going on (Zlango is not appearing)
• smartshopper is not in R&D phase since there are commercial operations and has been acquired too
• esnips should be in Social Networks
• Foxytunes should not be in Social Networks in my opinion but in music  discovery
• Sutree with 5Min in knowledge sharing
• Vestopia should be included (A lab portfolio)
• Weird for me to see Metacafe and Aniboom in the "infrastructure" category
• MediaBoost is not a P2P company
• 8hands is not a web analytics company but a social network tool
• Vringo is a pure consumer mobile play and not marketing analytics

Would be great if this database was online with tags for each company.

Octabox isnt a social network ouriel. It is a business platform for freelancers and small businesses.
Think of wordpress for freelancers a-la-salesforce.
