A few weeks ago i noticed a promotion banner on SiteMeter.com for a racist and extremist website. I contacted SiteMeter and asked them to do what is necessary to contact their ad network and take it off
They answered me and said they would do so. In the meantime my friend Alain made me notice that this is was served by Google Adsense, as he was also seeing it on his blog.
I then wrote to Google Adsense legal service on August 15th to file a complaint providing all the elements i had. They answered to my message (in French). Since there is a confidentiality disclosure i can't reproduce it here, but i have it archived in case it is necessary.
Basically they are claiming this ad is not served by Google that an ad served by Google is always accompanied by an Adsense signature
Yesterday however i was still seeing the same ad on SiteMeter. Doing a right click and "copy image location" i could see the advertising is actually served by Google (the link is appears below the picture)
My Friend Alain confirms me also he still sees this ad on his blog and he only has adsense as third party ad provider
I wrote back to Google to express my deepest worry. Let's assume they missed it the first time. How could they ignore that a second time and how could they ignore their ad is served by themselves?
Something is wrong in the Google Kingdom...
To be continued...
For sure, transparency and control are going to be next trends in ad business.

Funny that your post arrive today. I just noticed to Google and french Police a Google Add for a "Money Chain". I received an answer from Police but nothing from Google.
The website was saying "send us 30€ en receive 600€ every day after couple of days...
