Lately many israeli startups are being covered by top blog
- MyHeritage is declaring War to Geni (my favourite although i am impressed with myHeritage). TechCrunch has the news
- Conduit is announcing 12 million toolbars downloaded (i would prefer to know the number of active users/usage) and is doing 10m USD revenue. VentureBeat has the news
- This was not in a top blog but the ex GM of Microsoft Israel invests in Gizmox (not Gizmoz another israeli startup). It looks too sophisticated for my tired brain but it looks like they
By the way if you are an Israeli startup and think you could get covered by TechCrunch (if you prefer another blog this is also possible, but TechCrunch is also good :) ) just let me know, i ll be happy to help or even to cover.
Update 29/08: i forgot to mention SmartShopper that has a ..hmmm a smart shopping plugin for your browser and that has reached outstanding results to date (2m active users already). The story written by Allen Stern is on CenterNetworks
update # 2 : and now MetaCafe that is hosted at Digg for video rating. Mike has the story on TechCrunch. Orli on Go2Web2
Don't forget Dapper's recent article in TechCrunch...
