I agree with jason Gmail is the best webmail ever, by far. Those new features could be really cool in Gmail
1. Please let me pay you $100 a year for 10 gig.
2. Please let me sort my email by file size.
3. Remove attachments but keep the email feature (good one Ew!)
I add a 4th and 5th and 6th
4. let us read video/mp3 attachement directly without download (this should be easily feasible with YouTube or mp3 flash plugins like DewPlayer)
5. Add autocorrect in search. When i search email i sent to “Laurent” and i write “Larent” please suggest “Did you mean Laurent”. Since text is indexed and you do that with Google, why not in Gmail?
6. Allow full POP3 email integration and not that weird redirect features….
your 4th (for mp3s) and 6th requests already implemented, no? Can't you listen to music directly inside Gmail, I didn't try but saw a screenshot on Digg as a new Gmail feature? And I had no problem with POP3 but gave up just because I try not to use desktop apps anymore...

Emre, i am not aware of such features. At least nothing standard without hacking gmail or getting a special script to run on your computer.
Let me know where you saw that

POP integration is almost perfect BUT you cant download via POP same mail more than once, meaning you can only use one client if you want to have a complete storage of your mails offline. This was an issue when I wanted to use both OUTLOOK on my PC and the Nokia POP client on my cell, but now with gmail 4 mobile java applet, its not an issue anymore.

Emre is correct, you can play mp3's without downloading them, without any plugins. I've recently installed a fresh Firefox 2.0 and just the other day a friend sent me a song he wrote to get my opinion. Near where the download link is, was a little, innocuous, white button that played the song right in the email.
