Pinger and Cuts/Cutlists are 2 hot startups i will try to profile soon (maybe before Mike arrington) on TechCrunch.fr
CUTLISTS is a online mashup video plateform created by an ex-Half.com founder. TOP VC Josh Kopelman is also reporting it .
Cuts is building a new video platform that will empower you to watch your video your way. We're working hard on the technology to make this possible, and are planning to launch later this year.
PINGER is a new Voip/communication company backed up by top VC Kleiner Perkins.
“Our mission is to help people communicate with their voice in new and remarkably convenient ways. Drop us a line and we'll let you know more when we know more”
In both cases there’s no information running about them out of their homepage but it smells real good and i bet this will be worth following up.
I have few info on Pinger. It is a VoIP/IM startup. Here it is :'Pinger, Inc. is an early stage start-up funded by A-list venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Since its founding in 1972, KPCB has backed entrepreneurs in 450 ventures, including AOL, Amazon.com, Citrix, Compaq Computer, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Google, Intuit, Netscape, Lotus, Sun Microsystems, and Symantec.' It is reasonnable to believe KPCB may have a winner here...Time will tell!
