Evoca is just dead simple : record/store whatever audio file you want and share it.
But they do it smartly and simply. It is also integrated with Skype (pro account) and free options allow you to do a lot (more than odeo and other voice recording service that a premium). They allow up to 100 min recording for free and unlimited listening…Pay to get more
User interface is great. You can export easily content to you blog/website (great for my jazzcasts…). All community features are there (tags, RSS,…)
You can even charge for recordings and start making money and order transcripts. They really thought they business model well and did not just through Google Adsense.
A similar plateform for video should be also a great idea (Youtube is ok for broadcast but not for video content creation).
A new wave of content creation start ups is birthing. This one is a winner. More review here
I can't even go through the registration process. Too bad.

I thought you might want an Evoca button to add to your sidebar. Display with pride and confidence! Speak up and speak out!
Andrew.
for button: sign in to Evoca. Go to My Account>Get the Buttons>and then choose your button!
