PODCAST : GREAT DEW PLAYER' S LIMITS

Like many podcasters i am using DEW PLAYER to stream my music on my blog (see my podcast category)

I still find this free piece of code amazing (still wonder why amazon is not incorporating such a feature in its website for listening to extracts). But i realize with the time that it has some limitations. I would like to list them here. Hopefully whoever developped it will be able to improve it.

• No possibility to rewind /forward, except by replaying totally the podcast. not practical for long podcasts
• Works only with mp3 format: how about other formats (ogg, wav,..)?
• No possibility to change level of sound during the play (except pause)
• no possibility to know exactly how long is the podcast
• No integration in blogjet/ecto: have to go to html code to place it each time

But again it is a great tool and i definitely recommend it to whoever wants to give easy access to its podcast from your website, as someone can listen to your files without having to download them.
