An israeli company launched a sim-card that you can take with you anywhere in the world and that will enable you to receive anywhere calls for free when abroad without subscription! You probably know that when you are out of your original country your mobile operator takes you (lots of) money for receiving calls! Now you will pay only if you call. Ok you will have a new number but you just have to do a redirect! Mobile operators should re-think their model as more initiative like those will catch up soon everywhere. I know for example that many tourists that came to israel this summer bought local sim-card to receive calls only...
Could Skype launch a sim-card and extend its international skype-out/in offer to mobile users? They started with wifi users, but the next step is not far.
