I don't care there were only 3 weeks for the prime minister election campaign (compared to 2 years in the US and 6 months in France), i don't care there are 30 parties for a country of 6.6 million citizens. But why the hell make it so complicated at the time of chosing and putting the random letters/expressions instead of political parties for helping citizen to choose when they go voting? Instead of Kadima you have "Ken", Instead of Israel Beteinou you have "Lamed", Instead of Avoda "Emet"....The name of the actual party/leader is written in very small below the big letters (good luck to those with sight difficulties)
No need to say that when you can't read hebrew like me this is a total mess (a few thousands of new immigrants are in the same situation), but even if you can read why make it so unlogical and so complex?
I heard that this was done on purpose so people will make the effort to read and eventually give a chance to all. But this is not true. Take the Meretz party (on my pic, second line from top second column), the ballot is indeed called "Meretz" and is actually the only one i could spot in a second.
It took me exactly 1min and 20 sec to review all those papers and finally find what i was looking for. Ridiculous. This is the only country i know where elections are so badly organized, even in those insignificant details.
Anyone has another explanation/interpretation to this mystery?
