The eternal question: how to best present to a VC? I found this presentation by Canaan Partners (Dan Ciporin ex-Lgilab is now Venture Partner there) which lays out a few interesting points. If you are an entrepreneur read it.
For me a good pitch or in general a good presentation is comparable to a great piece of music. You have to prepare for long hours, train, repeat. Eventually you find the way you feel best presenting it. Just like in Jazz, the best part is not the tune, but the improvisation and the conversation with other musicians.
A good pitch, is a pitch you have prepared so well that you are ready to forget about it and start composing on the go, depending on the person and the reaction you get in front of you.
Prepare, Prepare, Prepare then forget. Then start.
