If you did not know, your bank commissions have changed (in Israel)

I just realized it by receiving my last account status. You can find all the details below. They claim it will save money to customers. But we ll see. Now you pay for any operation, one by one...All details below or on the site of Bank of Israel. This is insane to me. Israeli bank fees are WAY too high. I never paid so much in my whole life and lived in several countries.

For me there should not be ANY commission on basic operations (holding account, withdrawing cash, wires,,). Banks already have our money, we buy them financial products. They already enjoy tones of commissions. OF COURSE, they have to pay all the mail and paper they send us each year. And of course there is no regulation to stop that.

The good news is that now fees are standard from bank to bank and it is easier to compare them and also switch.
