Wonderful Aziza Mustafa Zadeh
In addition to being beautiful Aziza Mustafa Zadeh is an elegant composer, vocalist and pianist. A unique incomparable talented artist coming from Azerbaijan with wonderful melodies, stunning piano technique and delicate sense of musicality. Her style mixes Jazz/Classic and Ethnic music in a unique way. Listen to this prelude dedicated to her father.
My favorite disc is her first one, Jazziza a must have in all jazz library. It is one of my top 20 favorite jazz disc of all times.
What impresses me always is her ability to play the piano and sing asynchronously in sophisticated rhythms like here
It's always amazing to see new talent and engaging talent. Congratulations to Aziza Mustafa Zadeh on her ongoing jazz releases and we look forward to hearing her future undrertakings.
