If you have Gmail client installed on your blackberry you are probably accessing features the traditionnal way (meaning with keyboard and weel) which can be painful if you use it a lot

After a few casual mistakes i discovered easy keyboard shortcuts that make life much easier providing the same experience as on computer
Unfortunately those shortcuts are not explained no where and are not necessarily the same as per computer or mobile phone
- o – opens a mail
- d– delete mail
- c – compose mail
- y– archive mail
- s– star
- i– checking mail (unlike on computer there is no automatic refresh so this is most useful)
Most people (even very high profile users) around me did not know them. So i guess this should help

And just pour rappel, on the Symbian phones which are compatible with the Java GMail software, shortcuts are indicated in the various menus and they use your numeric pad :)
