First impressions on Twitter
- Totally useless
- Totally addictive
- Getting a lot of traction and buzz (number 3 top search in Technorati)
- Tones of peripherical tools : twatter / Twitterific / Autotwit/ twigdets (mostly mac) /Twitterlicious
- Tones of tips on how to best use it
- Not very stable
- Google talk client is poor and unstable
- Would like to be able to turn off/on alert on Gtalk from chat
- In order to customize your page you have to know the colours codes which is stupid (nobody knows) > please provide easy colour panel to do so
- you can add your twitter page to your Technorati Profile
- Too small pics on personnal page to visualize your friends
- Expressions start to birth out this tool: a social phenomen is birthing (steverubel: Twitter + voice attachments = Twitcasting)
- Still don’t get it but keep on trying
- Could end as a new form of asynchronious IM couple with social network
update: you can control alerts from Gtalk (when it works). Just send message “help” you ll get the instructions. There are other command too.
Twitter is for keeping in touch! Lingo: ON, OFF, WHOIS USERNAME, NUDGE USERNAME, FOLLOW USERNAME, LEAVE USERNAME, INVITE 2125551234. Standard txt rates

I think it is totally useless, just another gadget that will disappear in a few weeks... In my opinion, Yahoo would be stupid to buy twitter

I agree with you; I have not been able to post through Gtalk on twitter... Twitter contact keeps on going offline... I applied to twitter only for the sake of using it thru gtalk....
