Subtle branding change in Google Adsense, more to come soon
Since this morning you can see on all Google adsense blocks a new visual indicating you are watching ads serve by Google.
It has not been rolled out everywhere yet (on TechCrunch France you can still see the old text format). And it even looks it is randomly displayed for the moment
Looks like Google is going for the Apple/Nike branding strategy using only a symbol to represent their brand, because everyone know that symbol. Would the “G” become the equivalent of the apple or the swoosh?
The awareness of Google is so huge that i would bet they can go for this as their brand is strong enough. I expect to see the Glogo more and more in soon future on the web
