24 season 6 is already available
No it is not a joke. there’s a leak on bittorrent on first 4 episodes. for obvious reasons i will not link to the source, but as i understand it is not hard to find. When i see that i can’t help thinking that something’s wrong in TVland
And i far as i am concerned there is NO WAY on earth i would start watching 4 episodes of 24 without making sure i have the whole 24 with me.
Btw talking about series: i recently discovered a new fantastic series i highly recommand. Heroes, a sort of X-men with the suspens of 24…

It's not a suprise.
Every January, first episodes of 24 leaked on Internet.
You can also download the full DVD1 (NTSC but region free) including the 4 first episodes and "a
never-before-seen 12-minute preview of the next explosive episode".
As everyone knows, leaking stuff on internet before retail date is usual, CD, DVD, application so as TV shows.
For example this year, you could have been able to see Weeds S02E01 and 02, Justice S01 pilot, Criminal Mind S02 01 or Prison Break S01E13 before air date...
The "rule" is very simple : all promotional stuff leaked on Internet and pilot episodes (sometime from VHS, sometime from DVDscr) are not exempted.
That's why, some studios encrypt now the promotional DVDs sended for award (golden globes, oscar) with Cinea protection (ie Apocolypto).

Heads up for those who plan on 'finding' these videos....a friend of mine downloaded a few from btjunkie and said that they were fakes from season 1. Just a heads up for anyone on a slow connection...premiere is only like a week away...why not wait?

I got the 4 episodes from a torrent site and they were all real and in excellent quality. The four episodes represent a complete sub-story typical for 24 franchise, so it is safe to watch just 4 now and then wait for the rest. Plus by watching the episodes from DVD you will avoid all the annoying commercials.
