A NEW MP3 PLAYER IN THIS BLOG
If you look carefully i just placed a new cool flash mp3 player on that blog on the right side in the list “PICS and ZIKS” . I Placed there all my jazz podcasts. Now while you read my blog you can also listen some music…
I just placed it and you are already several to ask me “what is that? how did you do it?”
- Host your mp3 files on your server (i did it with typepad)
- get the http files for each of them
- go to www.yukebox.com and create an account
- create on own player and embed there your http files
- Be careful don’t forget to add artist and title otherwise it will not work
- Take the code and place it on your website. I placed it on a typelist
If you prefer the source code and host it yourself it is here. I think it is a good complement to podcast (brougth by the excellent dewplayer) that are only placed in posts and that get losts with time….
There is another good player, but a bit more complicated with RadioBlog as you will have to convert your mp3 files in a specific format. The good thing about radioblog is that there is already an impressive collection of music you can already use (run a search on an artist or song). Interesting also the creation of playlists. I will end up using it to post my favourite songs and not only the one i play.

Hi...Yukebox has desapeared. do you know of any other site who provides the same thing or something like it? This was so easy to use and simple..

I just signed into Yukebox, used their search to use songs that are already hosted by other users (like the radio blog feature you mention) but it is showing then as "NaN%loaded".
I'd like to troubleshoot with Yukebox since I think their player is attractive.
Any ideas?

Does these players support windows server...coz when i tried for radio blog i saw it can u used only for nix servers

I have added the yukebox to my site few days ago, and I like it very much, it's really so cool
But I'm wondering if anyone knows some free hosts where I could upload my mp3s and add them to the Yukebox?
